Just released the pattern for this pillow. The finished size is 12 1/2" square and is worked in size 10 crochet threads. It also has front post treble stitches for added texture which gives it a neat look that doesn't show up in the picture. It is also reversible and is the same on both sides. One side can be made and used as a doily as well. The buttons in the middle pull the pillow in some for more dimension. You can get your pattern and give it a try in my Etsy, Ravelry and Craftsy stores. Have fun!!

By the Seashore Scarf
The June issue of Crochet World came out this week and I received a package in the mail the other day with the scarf back and a complilmentary copy of the magazine. This was an unusual thread/yarn for me to work with it is made in Plymouth Yarn Nettle Grove fine weight cotton/linen/silk/nettle yarn. It is worked with a size 3/2.10mm steel crochet hook.
As always they did a beautiful job of photographing and styling the scarf!!
You can get your copy at any news stand or craft store to make one for yourself or even a download at Annies.com. It is an easy repeat pattern and very versatile it could even be made into a table runner or place mat. Different colors in each row, or more or less rows, fill in the open areas with more motifs.... the possibilities are endless!!
