Pretty Posey Hot Pad

There is a new magazine that just hit the newsstands, and it's called Quick-To-Stitch Crochet by Crochet World.  It is a beautiful issue packed full of amazing designs.  I am so happy to share that my Pretty Posey hot pad is included in the issue.  Here are some photos of the making of this potholder.  It is quick and easy to make and can be worked in any number of color combinations or a solid color.  Or change up the back side for a different look.  The sky's the limit!!

The yarn used in this project is Premiere Yarns Home Cotton in the colors Pastel Pink, Cream, Fuchsia and Sage.  They look so good together!!

This is a photo of the reverse side in progress....

Some Bunny Loves You

I can't believe spring is almost here already!!  And the April issue of I Like Crochet has been released.  You can find my Some Bunny Loves You table runner in this issue and so many other great designs!!  This is an easy to make filet piece.  The first few instructions are written and there is also a chart to finish it by.  It would be pretty in any pastel spring color and also white or off white.  It's not just for
Easter but all spring long.  Who doesn't love a cute little bunny!!
Check out the lovely photos from I Like Crochet and also go to the following links to get your issue and start crocheting for spring!!

Button Bunnies and Flowers

A few years ago I made a snowman mantle scarf and a little skinny pillow out of felt and buttons.  This idea popped into my head for Easter.  They are very fun to make and the bunnies and flowers could be attached to most anything.  They could even be stiffened and used as a pin or magnet. I just cut felt pieces the size I wanted for a pillow and cut a piece for the mantle and added scallops and a little embroidery embellishments, very simple!!   As with all patterns you can use your imagination to make all kinds of projects!!  Click on the link to buy the pattern from Ravelry.  If you prefer Etsy there is a link to that as well!!
