The third pattern in A Very Crochet Christmas is a new pattern. It is for 3 lacy crochet stiffened trees.
They range in size from 13 1/2" tall x 4 " across the bottom, 10 1/4" tall x 4" wide across the bottom and 7 1/4" tall x 3" across the bottom. They make a nice grouping or addition to a holiday display!! They are basically the same pattern, just more rows added to make them taller and they are shaped over easy to find Styrofoam cones. They are so beautiful in the white with the gold garland on them that the magazine chose for them!! The star is different on the larger tree but you can add whichever star you prefer!!
I am also going to share my original ones just to give you an idea of other looks for the pattern...
On the Antique White trees I used the Forest Green for the chain and added Burgundy berries
On the Forest Green trees I added some different color "ornaments". They are made by working 12 single crochets in a magic loop. Very easy!!
They look great with my Frosty Friend Snowman, too!!
The pattern is in A Very Crochet Christmas and if you can't find it local you can order it at this link...
I hope you will give this easy pattern a try!!
