I saw some flowers on Pinterest that inspired me to make some of my own. I did my own thing with it and wanted to share....
I cut out some wooden pieces, drilled holes around for the petals and stems and used some corks, too.
Painted them up in spring colors....
Cut out some petals from some fabric I had adheared together with fusible web and used pinking shears. I then put the petals in the holes on the round centers to make some fabric flowers. I just used some out of my stash instead of buying more fabric.....
The corks are used for the center of the daffodils!! These patterns came out of my scroll saw pattern book
I added some burlap and buttons to decorate up the centers a little bit. Addie & Charlie made this flower pot for me a few years ago with their hand prints on it and I wanted something different for in it this year. I love how these flowers turned out!!
Some sunflowers and daisies, too!!
So then I got the idea to make the same flowers tiny. I had these little 1 1/2" flower pots they were perfect for!!
Here is the larger version...
I had this little 3" sprinkling can I dressed up a little bit, too with the same tiny flowers in it.
Spring has sprung inside and out!! They are so fun to make, too!!
