The Summer 2024 issue of Crochet World is out on news stands and also in the mail and I'm so happy to share my latest runner pattern that is included in it.
It is the Lacy Stars Runner
It is a filet crochet piece worked from a chart. The first several rows are written out to get you going then it's pretty easy to follow the chart.
In the issue it's traditional Red, White and Blue but it would be pretty in more primitive colors of Navy, Ecru and Burgundy, too.
The idea for this design came from a quilted runner I saw online. Britt, the editor, wanted to change it up a little so it wasn't quite as similar to the quilted version. She made a couple suggestions and I'm very happy with the final result!!
This runner is worked in Lizbeth size 10 thread in the colors Poppy Red, Royal Blue and Snow White with a size 7/1.65mm hook. The finished size is 42 1/2" x 17 1/4" It was so fun to make!! I hope you will give it a try!!
