Leaf Vine Towel Trim

The Leaf Vine Towel Trim is a filet crochet piece.  It measures 26 3/4" x 3 1/8".  It is a crochet pattern featured in the Fall 2023 Helping Hands Newsletter put out by hhtatting.com. or Handy Hands.  The newletters come out 4 times a year and you can subscribe on their website.  

This trim is attached to a towel they sell which is about 27" square.  It is fun to make the trim for one edge but I also had an idea to put it around all 4 sides and make it into a little tablecloth or centerpiece depending on the size of the table.  It is easy to adjust the size by the number of repeats on the chart.  

I also got the bright idea to sew this on to the towel with invisible thread....... I don't know if I'll do that again!!  But it did make for a nice finish with no color showing through to the back side.  

I like how this looks on the white towel.  

It would be pretty across the bottom of a curtain, too.
