Neck Warming Cowl

As cool as the last few mornings have been and the huge frost we had this morning this will come in hand soon !!!  Had a chance to work on it this week sitting in the trucks and it worked up really quickly.  It is a great on-the-go project. It slips over your head and can also be used as a head band to keep your ears warm.

Cutting Soybeans

Started cutting soybeans on Thursday at a neighbors.  It is going pretty quick with help from a friend.

From the inside looking out....

If you want to know where the combines are just follow the dust......

High Moisture Corn Shelling

.

The last few days we have been working at a local dairy farm shelling high moisture corn for these curious gals to eat.

Very interesting how they clean the barn....

The first of the corn they ran threw this hammer mill to process it.

Interesting view of the dump trailer....

After they had as much processed that way that they needed they switched over to the roller mill, another way to process the corn.

With Rick shelling, me running trucks back and forth and another guy unloading it's going pretty quickly.

Hopefully there won't be any rain delays and we can finish there tomorrow for the first time there.  They have more to do in a few weeks.
