Just another day at the office...

Spring has sprung, the ground has dried out, time to do some turbo tilling...

Signs of Spring

Thank goodness I took pictures of the Daffodils last week because after that wind and rain and sleet that blew threw on Tuesday they are either flat on the ground or frozen....

Takin' down the tree.....

I've been wanting to get rid of this Cedar tree that has been slowly dying for the last few years so when Rick got home early Friday he had some time to do it.

Got out the chainsaw and the telehandler but turned out all he needed was the telehandler.

Just a "little" push......

and out it came, roots and all!!!

so he picked it up by the roots....

and carried it away!!

simple as that !!

All that was needed then was a little smoothing up where the tree was.

Most of the dirt fell off the roots so it was very nice soft soil where the tree was to work with.

Transplanted a few daffodils and some mums, spread a little mulch and grass seed and it turned out to be a fairly easy job !!

I found this little piece of lattice in the barn so I moved the Clematis that were at the rail fence posts we did away with by the lattice so they have something to climb on.

Looks so much better without the dead tree to look at all the time!!

Fun with the little ones

We have had some fun days with the little ones lately thought I'd share some pictures.

Boys will be boys.....

Haven't gotten to spend a lot of time with Addie because of her being in school all day but one snow day she spent with us I helped her make a pillow.  She caught on really quick!!

Looks like we will have help with the yard work this year!!

Charlie got in Addie's dress up clothes bag the other day and found this hat...

Don't ya just  love this face!!!

Such a little ham!!

Harvest Runner

Back in December I posted a picture of a fall harvest scene runner I had made. I got to thinking that would look neat with the bottom hanging off the edge of a shelf. I made this one to hang off the TV shelf with the little barns on it.  I like how it looks used this way.
