I finally got around to making a porch potting bench the other day I had been wanting to make for over a year now. I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out.
Also the beautiful Wild Phlox are very pretty this week.
Here are a few pictures to enjoy them....
Also the Iris and the pretty purple globes, too!!

Here is the latest doily I have made I call it Rippling Waters.
It is made from Aunt Lydia's size 10 crochet threads in Antique White, Copper Mist, Delft, Olive and Aspen Multi.
The center is worked then the outer triangles are worked and joined to the center as you go.
It is pretty easy to do once you get the rhythm of the pattern and goes pretty quickly.
Any color combination or solid would be very pretty as well!!
The pattern is available for $2.50 as a PDF download from my Etsy Store, Ravelry, Ebay or Craftsy if you want to make one for yourself!!

I know it's getting hot out again but this is another good project with thread that is comfortable to work on in hot weather and will be ready for winter....or a nice fair entry!!
This table runner measures 34 1/4" x 13 1/2" and is worked in size 10 crochet thread. It can be done in all one color or a color border if desired. The pattern has instructions for both. The border is worked in 3 treble clusters which makes it look like tiny little trees. The top one is worked in Aunt Lydia's Antique White the bottom worked in Natural with Forest Green trim. The pattern is available for PDF digital download in my Etsy store, Ravelry store, Ebay and Craftsy. Hope you get a chance to check it out!!

I know it's the first of May and all the flowers are blooming and it's warming up but what better time to start on a doily for the holidays when it's too hot to crochet with heavy yarns.
This doily pattern is now for sale in my Etsy store, Ebay, Ravelry and Craftsy for $2.50. It measures about 15" square and is worked in size 30 thread with a size 12/.75mm steel crochet hook. I apologize for this photo. It doesn't show the best detail.
