Bunny and Carrot Sculptures

Another great idea for spring decorating are these crocheted bunny and carrot sculptures.  They are very easy to make and are great for all spring even into summer.  Both bunnies are the same pattern it's all in the placement of the "arms", legs and head if it's a standing or laying down bunny.  The pieces are crocheted in halves and stiffened over easy to find plastic or Styrofoam eggs.  The halves are then glued together with permanent fabric glue.  The pieces are worked in size 10 crochet threads.  They are basic crochet stitches and are very easy to make.   Finished size of the standing bunny is 10" tall x 6 1/2" wide and 5" deep.  Laying down bunny is 7 1/2" long, 7" wide and 8" tall to tips of ears.  Both have a 2" pom pom on the back.  The carrot measures 8" from bottom  to top of greens.  It is about 1" wide at the top tapered to about 1/2" wide.  All are easy to make and stiffen and assemble. Check out the pattern in my Etsy, Craftsy and Ravelry stores and make your own for your spring decorating!!
